Tangled Together

The Diva Challenge this week is to do a DuoTangle using the tangles Chebucto and Copada. Both of these patterns were created by CZT Margaret Bremner. This challenge was particularly difficult, because both patterns lend themselves so well to borders, but not necessarily to being the main theme. Here is what I came up with.

I also completed a tile for the Facebook group "Square One: Purely Zentangle". I had fallen behind  on the tiles for this group during the holidays, but was very excited to get back into the groove with this weeks focus which is Rixty. I combined Rixty with Cockles 'N' Mussels, and though I initially wasn't crazy about this tile, I decided I liked it after I finished the shading.

I hope to find some extra time this week to work on my entry for "The Sketchbook Project" which I also let slide over the holidays. I will keep you posted on my progress.

As always, comments and critiques are welcome.

Happy Tangling!

  3. I agree the diva's challenge was one to make you work for it. Hence the word challenge, I guess. I LOVE how your second tile has such a great art deco feeling to it...gorgeous!

  4. I like both tiles, but I especially like the tangle within a tangle on the DIVA tile.
