Phicops and Diva Dance

The challenge this week is to combine Phicops and Diva Dance.  This was my first time using either, and I am very pleased with the outcome.
I have been playing around with mixed media, and decided to have some fun with the background. I used Tim Holtz Distressed Inks in Salty Ocean and Vintage Photo.  For the drawing I used Sakura Micron Pigma 01s in brown and sepia as well as a white Gelly Roll. All of my shading was done with a dark brown Prismacolor Verithin colored pencil.

    1. Thank you. I have only recently started playing with mixed media on paper, but have been experimenting with it for a while in jewelry making. It really gives you a lot of options!

  2. Love it! your phicops has sharp edges, sort of "flinging" itself outward. The colors are luscious, too! great tile

    1. Thanks, I like the colors as well. I need more practice drawing phicops, I like this one, but it wasn't comfortable to draw.

  5. Love the background. Like the swoosh of your Phicops. The white highlights really set things off.
