Beads of Courage

The Diva Challenge this week was to create something inspired by "Beads of Courage" which you can read more about here.  I chose to do a very simple tile combining Rixty and Beadlines.

I have also been working on ATCs this week. The Facebook group Zentangle: Stacked and Tangled has set up an ATC swap in which everyone participating is to create 20 "stacked" ATCs.  I have completed two so far.  My first is on a hand marbled ATC which is shown untangled in an earlier blog post. The tangles used are Gneiss, Hollibaugh, All Boxed Up and something kind of Bunzoish.

The second is on watercolor paper using Distress Markers. The tangles used are Keeko, Bales, a variation of Cadent and Scared Straight.

As always, comments and critiques are welcome.

Happy Tangling!

  1. I love the 'simple' tile you created!
Remember me asking about the necklaces? I already made quite a lot, giving them (what I like most) and even selling. Just last Friday I made arrangements with a shop that sells all kinds of stuff for artists that they are going to sell them (starting the first of July) and the money is for a project of theirs in Uganda. I'm so exited and still thankful to you.
